How long does it take?

Standard logo redraws are usually drawn within 24 hours.
We may be able to do do it sooner if you're in a hurry. Just ask. Obviously for complicated vector image conversions it may take longer. Click here for a free quote.

What file types will the image be saved as?

Just about anything you want. We'll send an AI(Illustrator) an EPS file but if you request it we'll also send any of the following file formats:
TFF, BMP, PDF, JPG, GIF, WMF. All files are sent by email.

What is the difference between a print logo and a web logo?

Print logos require a much higher resolution and need to be saved in certain standard print formats. Some of the most common and universal print formats for print jobs are TIFF, EPS, and AI (Illustrator).

By creating a logo in these file formats, the logo can be opened up and printed even without having the original software application that the logo was created in.

Web logos require a much smaller resolution (as they only need to be displayed on screen). Which is why they are not a good choice for printing, as the quality will appear very blurred or jagged on paper.

What software do we use?

We use Adobe Illustrator for all vector drawing. Adobe Illustrator is the industry standard for this type of vector illustration work.

Other popular vector drawing programs used are:

• CorelDRAW
• Macromedia Freehand
• Xara X

What if you don't like the vector image we've created from your original logo?

No problem, we'll keep on adjusting it until you're happy. We won't ask for a payment until you've approved the jpg proof. Once we've received your payment we'll send you the EPS and AI vector files and any other you specify.

How do you send your artwork?

Just upload to us the best quality version of your artwork that you have. Obviously the clearer it is for us to see, then the better job we can make of the final image.
Please send as a JPG or GIF file.

How do you receive the vector files?

We will send you the final EPS and AI vector files by email. If it's a very large image then we'll upload it to a secure area on our website for you to download.

What is a vector image?

Vector drawings can be scalable to any size without any loss in quality. This makes them ideal for company logos or other objects that have to be resized frequently.

Typical uses are for stationery, large banners, signs, vehicle graphics and just about anything else you can think of!

We can convert your logo from a raster or (bitmap) image to a vector illustration. Your logo will be completely redrawn using the smallest number of points possible (but still retaining image quality); the fewer the points the smaller the file size.

There are two kinds of computer graphics - raster (composed of pixels) and vector (composed of paths). Raster images are more commonly called bitmap images.

A raster image uses a grid of individual pixels where each pixel can be a different color or shade. Raster images are composed of pixels.

Vector graphics use mathematical relationships between points and the paths connecting them to describe an image. Vector graphics are composed of paths.

Raster images require higher resolutions and anti-aliasing for a smooth appearance. Vector based graphics on the other hand are mathematically described and appear smooth at any size or resolution.

Raster images are best used for photographs and images with subtle shading. Graphics best suited for the vector format are logos, page layout, type, line art or illustrations.

You may have a logo that you designed yourself, either created using photo editing software or perhaps a design that you've hand drawn, 90% of the time we can re-draw it into a vector graphic.

Just upload your existing logo as a JPG file and we'll let you know whether we can re-draw it and also give you a quote.

If you have a hand drawn image, you can scan it at a minimum of 150 dpi and save it as a JPG file, which you can then send by upload.
